How to Download a Pinterest Video
Follow these three steps to retrieve and save an available video.
Step 1: Copy the Pinterest Video Link
Open the video Pin on Pinterest. Use the Share or Copy Link option to copy its URL. In a desktop browser, you can also copy the individual Pin URL from the address bar.
Step 2: Paste the Link into PinVideo
Enter the copied link in the downloader above and click Download. PinVideo will attempt to retrieve the media associated with that Pin.
Step 3: Preview and Save the Video
If a supported video is found, review the preview and select Download Video. Your browser manages the download and determines where the saved file appears.

PinVideo works with individual public Pinterest Pins containing retrievable video media.
You can submit a regular Pinterest Pin URL or a supported pin.it sharing link. The Pin must be accessible, and its video source must be available in a format the downloader can process.

Why Can't I Download a Pinterest Video?
Several issues can prevent a video from being retrieved, even when the Pin opens in your browser.
Incorrect or Incomplete Link
Make sure the URL points to the individual Pin. Copy the link again using Pinterest's sharing option and resubmit it.
Video Is Unavailable
A Pin may have been removed, restricted, or made inaccessible. PinVideo cannot bypass those restrictions.
Unsupported Video Source
Some videos use media streams that the downloader cannot prepare. If a compatible video source is unavailable, the tool cannot produce a successful video download.
Download or Connection Problem
An unstable connection, interrupted request, or browser limitation can affect the download. Check your connection and retry the link. If the source is unsupported, repeated attempts may not solve the issue.
Video Quality and File Formats
PinVideo retrieves an available video source rather than creating a higher-quality version of the original.
Does PinVideo Support HD Videos?
An HD video can be retrieved when a suitable source is available. The downloader does not upscale lower-resolution files or provide a manual quality selector.
Which Video Format Will Be Saved?
PinVideo handles available MP4 video files and certain supported HLS streams, which it can assemble into MP4 without re-encoding.
HLS is a streaming delivery format. Not every HLS source is compatible, and assembly is subject to technical and device-memory limits.
Does PinVideo Remove Watermarks?
PinVideo does not add new watermarks or remove existing ones. Any watermark already embedded in the source video remains part of the saved file.

PinVideo provides browser-based history and favorites for previously retrieved Pins. A history entry records a successful retrieval, not proof that the video file was saved. A saved link may stop working if its source becomes unavailable.
